UK WEIMARANER SOCIETIES JOINT JUDGES LIST 2022
The UK Weimaraner societies have come together to produce a joint judging list for the ease of everyone, which is compiled in line with the Kennel Club mandatory requirements. Applications will be considered throughout the year.
The Judges list is for use by all Canine Societies, to aid in their selection of judges, and is available from the Download Button below. Anyone wishing to be included on our Judges List must complete the official Joint Judging Questionnaire (which can be found on our website under the Show tab). Applications are accepted and reviewed throughout the year; successful applicants are updated onto the list accordingly and their details will not be used for any other purpose. Please note our GDPR policy must be adhered to at all times. (GDPR Policy Here).
PLEASE NOTE:
The Weimaraner Association asks that all new and existing Judges must agree not to place, at any show, a blue dog purporting to be a Weimaraner.
The Weimaraner Breed Standard clearly states:
‘The only correct colour is grey. Silver grey preferable. Shades of mouse or roe grey are acceptable; blending to lighter shade on head and ears. Dark eel stripe frequently occurs along back. Whole coat gives an appearance of metallic sheen. Small white mark permissible on chest. White spots resulting from injuries not penalised. Any other colour, including blue, highly undesirable.’
Any other coat colour is registered as Non-Breed-Standard (NBS) by The Kennel Club' and should be considered a serious fault. The Weimaraner Association is dedicated to keeping the Weimaraner ‘a grey dog of true colour’ as described. Any Judge listed on the Weimaraner Associations Judges List, who is found to have placed a blue dog at a show, will be removed from the List with immediate effect.
