It is with much pleasure that we announce the following dates for our Shows in 2024.
30 Class Championship Show - Sunday 5th May 2024
Our Championship Show will be held on Sunday, 5th May 2024 at Newark & Notts Showground (Crocker 3), Winthorpe, NG24 2NY. Our judge for the Champ Show is Barbara Stamp (Tynsil) and our Special Awards Classes judge is Emma Martin (Teufel).
21 Class Open Show in the Summer – Thursday, 30th May 2024
Our Open Show is to be held on Thursday, 30th May 2024 in conjunction with Gundog Day at Southern Counties Canine Association Championship Show at The Newbury Showground, Priors Court Road, Hermitage, Thatcham RG18 9QZ. Our Open Show judge is Lewis Phillips (Rivertone).

The Royal Kennel Club has granted the WA an extra set of CCs from 2024, with the proviso one of the shows is held alongside another show. For 2024 the WA have chosen to host their second Championship Show alongside NEWS on Saturday 13th July 2024. It will be held at the Newark & Notts Showground (Crocker 1), NG24 2NY. Our judge for the Champ Show is Sue Moore (Cavalmist).

COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT: OCTOBER 2020 OPEN SHOW CANCELLED:
Due to the ongoing situation with the coronavirus pandemic, the Officers and Committee of the Weimaraner Association, have discussed at length the viability of holding our Open Show scheduled for 25th October 2020.
Unfortunately, taking into account all the health and safety requirements advised by the Government and the venue itself, and discussing the situation with Mid-Herts Gundog Club (who we hold our show in conjunction with), it has proved unworkable and therefore we have taken the sad decision to cancel our October Show.
We hope you will understand our decision and we look forward to getting ‘back to normal’ in 2021 and welcoming you all back to our events.
Please stay safe and look after your families and your Weimaraners.

Unfortunately the Kennel Club have revoked our License for an Open Show in May, however, we have sent a letter to appeal this ruling and the Sub-Committee have requested the view of the Dog Show Promotion Working Party before giving us a final answer.
